Dave Patterson, EA, CPIM

Dave is an Enrolled Agent and has been a tax professional with Upstate Tax for more than 5 years. However his first professional tax return was prepared in 1977. Prior to entering private practice he was a partner in big six accounting firm KPMG. He has a BS in Accounting from the University of Georgia and a MS in Management from the University of Southern California. His areas of expertise include taxation (individual, small business, and corporate), tax consulting, and business consulting. Dave is also an instructor for an individual income tax course at Tri-County Technical College. He is a current member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and National Society of Entrolled Agents.

Scott Patterson, EA

Scott is an Enrolled Agent and has been a tax professional for more than 5 years. Since 2007 Scott has been a member of the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents and is the current Secretary. He is also a member of the National Society of Accountants and National Association of Enrolled Agents Scott holds a BS degree from Clemson Univeristy earned in 1999. His areas of expertise include tax planning, personal wealth management, taxation (individual, small business, and corporate), tax controversy & representation, business consulting, and computer & internet technology. Scott is also an instructor for an individual income tax course at Tri-County Technical College and volunteers as and instructor for the IRS Small Business Workshops. Prior to being a tax professional, Scott spent 5 years as a Software Engineer.
